This jacket ismade in Japan by Warehouse & Co. Warehouse is known for making some of the best vintage replica garments in the world. Their attention to details when it comes to material and manufacturing techniquesmakes it hard to tell the difference if you compare a Warehouse garment with an actual vintage garment.This isa reproduction of the denim pullover used by the US Army in the 30s. Denim became a standard fabric used by the army as early as 1919,replacing the brown cotton duck work clothes that were used prior to that and the pullover was standardissue up until the 40s when ajacket with lower pockets and a buttoned up front replaced it.We actually have one of those original shirts in our archive and wrote a blog post about it which you can read10oz Japanese denim. The jacket is pre washed and won't shrink.
